Roadworthy
& Gas Testing
Mobile Decontamination Unit - Annual
Roadworthy Inspection
Is your decontamination unit safe?
At Beacon International our team of specialist can carry out
a full inspection of your unit and give you a report on the
condition including chassis, brakes and tow hitch etc.
We
offer a collect and return service from either your office
or from site. Your unit will be brought into our workshop,
where we will strip down the brakes and adjust where necessary.
We will thoroughly inspect the chassis, “A” frame
and tow hitch, checking for cracks and corrosion.
We’ll check the operation of handbrake and corner steadies.
All road lights are tested and bulbs will be replaced if required.
Tyres will be checked for wear and the pressure. Once we’ve
completed the inspection procedure we’ll
take your unit for a road test to check brake balance and operation.

Gas Testing
To ensure there are no leaks in your system
our engineers can check the pipe work and connections for gas
leaks. Once the system has been tested we’ll fire up
the boiler and run the showers checking that the water temperature
is correct and stable.
Many of our customers are having their Roadworthy and Gas
test done together which obviously help to reduce the time
you unit is out of use.
If require we can give your Decontamination
unit a full health check where we’ll go through the
whole unit and give you a list of repairs required.
